Joey Rufo is currently the Senior Vice President and the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer of Union Bank of the Philippines, the leading bank of innovation in the Philippines.  He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Member of Institute of Corporate Directors, Founding member and Treasurer of (ISC)² Philippine Chapter, Board Member of the University of the Philippines School of Statistics Alumni Association and a Trustee of GoDigital Pilipinas.

His career spans two decades of experience in the field of Information Security, Data Privacy IT, Data and Analytics in the Telecommunications and Financial Services industry. He graduated from University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Statistics.
