Led by Fortinet trainers, these sessions let you explore what is possible across the Security Operations, Unified SASE and Secure Networking focus areas through compelling hands-on labs and use cases.
Fast Track Workshop: Securing the Hybrid Workforce with Universal SASE
With the rise of hybrid work, combined with application migration to cloud and SaaS, organizations must now secure employees who access the network and applications from anywhere. This shift has significantly expanded the attack surface, thereby increasing the complexity of network, application, and resource security.
A Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) architecture converges networking and security, enabling secure access and high-performance connectivity to users anywhere. However, many cloud delivered security solutions fail to provide enterprise-grade security to a hybrid workforce. They are also unable to seamlessly integrate with the range of physical and virtual network and security tools deployed at the network edge to deliver consistent security posture and superior user experience everywhere.

Fast Track Workshop: Proactive Advanced Endpoint Detection and Response
Endpoints are frequently the target of initial compromise or attacks. One recent study found that 30% of breaches involved malware being installed on endpoints. Fortinet endpoint solutions strengthen endpoint security through integrated visibility, control, and proactive defense.
FortiEDR delivers advanced, real-time threat protection for endpoints both pre- and post-infection. It proactively reduces the attack surface, prevents malware infection, detects and defuses potential threats in real time, and can automate response and remediation procedures with customizable playbooks.

Fast Track Workshop: SD-Branch - LAN Edge Wired and Wireless
Enterprise networking and security teams are struggling with evolving their WAN and branch office IT architecture to support digital transformation. A typical branch office consists of multiple point products, creating both security and complexity challenges. IT teams are looking to consolidate these point products to increase agility and save money, while improving the security and visibility of network access at the branch office.
Fortinet secure access architecture powered by FortiLink is uniquely suited to SD-Branch deployments, with Ethernet switch and wireless access point management built into the same platform that drives our Secure SD-WAN solution, the FortiGate and FortiOS.
In this workshop, participants learn how enabling FortiLink between FortiSwitch, FortiAP, and a FortiGate integrates the devices into the FortiGate network security platform. Thus, the FortiSwitch and FortiAP can be managed directly from the familiar FortiGate interface. This single pane of glass management provides complete visibility and control of all users and devices on the network, regardless of how they connect.
Participants who attend this workshop will learn how to:
• Create a FortiLink interface
• Authorize FortiSwitch and FortiAP devices
• Create VLANs and policies
• Create SSIDs
• Configure radio frequency (RF) parameters
• Assign firewall policies to FortiGate interfaces

Fast Track Workshop: Secure SD-WAN Deployment and Troubleshooting Workshop
This workshop is ideal for Fortinet Partners who want a deeper understanding of Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN solution and what it takes to efficiently configure, deploy and troubleshoot.
The workshop consists of a theory presentation and a hands-on challenge component. The theory section covers new SD-WAN features from the latest FortiOS releases and will include topics such as Deployment, Traffic Steering, BGP routing, Advanced Dynamic VPN and Troubleshooting. After review of these topics, partners will leverage this new knowledge and any prior experience to fix various issues purposely introduced into a typical SD-WAN topology deployment. Participants who successfully complete this challenge will have repaired their SD-WAN deployment by making it fully operational.
