Ravi Mani is currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Quest Diagnostics. As CISO, Mani has established a cybersecurity strategy that is based on NIST risk framework and is aligned with strategic business objectives.  Mr. Mani has a proven track record as a business leader and subject matter expert in Information Security, Data Privacy, IT Risk and Regulatory Compliance. He is an innovative thinker with 10 US patents and several publications across multiple disciplines including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Digital Transformation. He was the winner of the 2022 and 203 Top Global CISO’s in the World award by Cyber Defense Magazine and 2023 TOP 100 CISOs by CISOs Connect.

As CISO, Mani is responsible for proactively identifying Company's security risks through threat intelligence in the current and future state of business operations. In addition, to prepare the organization with the right technologies, skills, resources, relationships, and capabilities against growing information security threats and to help with gaining regulatory compliance. He reports directly to the Chief Information and Digital Officer and provides strategic direction and advice to the company and its Board of Directors. Mr. Mani also serves as a customer advisory board member with several partners and technology companies to evaluate and provide unbiased insights and thought leadership.

Prior to his role as CISO for Quest Diagnostics, Mani served as Global CISO and Distinguished Engineer for IBM Cloud and Watson Platform business of IBM Corporation. In that capacity, Mani led the Cloud security and privacy organization to develop and implement Cloud security strategy and security risk operational model. Mani also severed as strategist and point person to evangelize the secure public Cloud transformation opportunities for the Fortune 100 customers across financial services, healthcare, and public sector.

Mr. Mani is a recognized leader in the field of automation using machine learning and artificial intelligence to accelerate digital transformation. He also served as an adjunct professor of Management Information Systems at DePaul University School of Accountancy and Management Information Systems. 

Mani established a partnership with various federal intelligence agencies and became the first partner in the bio-technology threat focus cell led by Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). Mr. Mani is a frequent speaker at technology and security panel discussions.
