Filippo Monticelli is a seasoned executive with 30 years of experience in the ICT industry. A graduate in Electronic Engineering from Vesalius College in Brussels, he also holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering with a focus on telecommunications from the University of Texas at Austin. 

Filippo began his career in 1995 at Ascom, designing advanced ATM networks and IP backbones for telecommunications operators and enterprise customers. In 2001, he joined Lutech, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the network and ICT solutions division. Rising to the position of Business Unit Manager for the Enterprise and Carrier markets, he led a multidisciplinary team of area managers, key account managers, and pre-sales consultants. 

In 2009, Filippo took on the dual role of Marketing and Business Development Director and Board Member at Maticmind, where he directed pre-sales engineering and ICT consulting teams. His leadership contributed to the company's strategic growth in innovative ICT solutions. 

Filippo first joined Fortinet in 2014 as Country Manager for Italy, where he successfully drove go-to-market strategies and spearheaded the organization's growth. At the end of 2020, he left Fortinet to return to Maticmind, serving as CEO and steering the company through a pivotal phase of its development through a series of M&A initiatives. He rejoined Fortinet during 2022 and now serves as Senior Vice President for the EMEA South GEO, a role encompassing full responsibility for sales, pre-sales and channel. Filippo leads a broad portfolio of initiatives, fostering growth and innovation in diverse markets, including Southern and Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
