David Brown is the ICT Security Manager at the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).
Operating in 90 countries, the ICRC provides humanitarian protection and assistance to those suffering the devastating effects of armed conflict; the ICRC's status as a neutral, independent organization operating in war zones presents some unique and complex challenges across information security domains.
Since 2018, David has been supporting the organisation to embed effective cybersecurity into it's operating model, whilst navigating an increasingly complex and politicised cybersecurity and connectivity landscape.
David has over 20 years experience in information security across various roles and sectors, latterly in global banking environments prior to joining the ICRC.
