
Meng's research focuses on fintech, payments, banking, finance automation (including accounts receivable and accounts payable automation), fraud and compliance management, identity and access management, and threat intelligence. He has provided advice to leading global financial institutions, fintechs, technology companies, and enterprises based on his research and expertise. His reports are frequently quoted by mainstream media, including Forbes, the Financial Times, CNBC, The Business Times, and Bank Innovation. He has spoken at global financial services events such as Sibos, Hong Kong Fintech Week, and Finovate, as well as on news networks including CNA. He has been named one of the “Top 100 Global Influencer Voices In Fintech.” Meng is currently based out of Forrester’s Singapore office.
Previous Work Experience
Before Forrester, Meng worked for both traditional banks and fintech firms. He has worked for the Industrial And Commercial Bank Of China, the largest bank in the world by assets, and Ripple Labs, the San Francisco-based blockchain and payment fintech unicorn.
Education
Meng holds an MBA degree from University of Rochester and BA degree from China Foreign Affairs University. Meng can speak Japanese, Mandarin, and English fluently and has global experiences in multiple countries including China, the US, Japan, and Singapore.
