FAQs
You've got questions, we've got answers.
Yes! If you did not pre-pay for your hotel during registration, you must make your reservation by March 31 in order to secure the special Accelerate rate. If you missed the link to make your reservation, contact us at accelerate@fortinet.com.
Accelerate is Fortinet's annual partner and customer event, attracting over 3,000 attendees from around the world.
Mandalay Bay and Delano are sold out, but nearby MGM properties have offered special rates for Accelerate attendees. We recommend Luxor. It's the closest hotel to Mandalay Bay (within walking distance) and offers great rates. To explore available hotels, visit https://mgmgrand.mgmresorts.com/redirect/bookaroom.
No, you are free to stay where ever is convenient for you, but transportation to/from Mandalay Bay and onsite parking is not provided.
Pending hotel availability, you may have the option to secure the negotiated room rates for additional nights in Las Vegas. The earlier you register and make your hotel reservation, the greater chance you will have of extending your stay. If you choose to pre-pay for your hotel during registration, a four (4) night reservation (check-in April 1; check-out April 5) will be made for you. Once you receive your confirmation, you can contact the hotel to add additional nights.
Cybersecurity professionals, including system administrators, systems architects, IT executives, technical leaders, and business decision-makers will find value in the carefully curated tracks, labs, and keynote sessions.
Accelerate will be held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV

Yes, you will be able to accrue 20 CPE credits for attending Accelerate 2024. After the event, Fortinet will submit the credits to (ISC)² on your behalf.
During the registration, please indicate that you would like to accrue CPE credits and enter your (ISC)² member ID. The first and last name in your event registration must match your name in your (ISC)² member profile.
Fortinet will submit the information to (ISC)² within six (6) weeks after the event. After that, Fortinet will provide you a participation certificate and CPE credits will be posted in the (ISC)² member’s account within 5-10 business days.
Only members with an active (ISC)² membership and the activity date within their current three-year certification cycle will have the CPEs applied to their records.

Yes, there will be a proctored exam room available at specific times throughout the conference and post-conference workshops in the North Conference Center where the Fortinet Training Institute is located. This will be different from last year, as we will not be conducting an open exam room, so partners/customers will need to register for a specific examination session. Any 2-hour or shorter written exam that is currently available through the Pearson Vue testing center will be available at no extra cost. Registration will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.
You must bring your own laptop to run the exam.
Post-Conference Workshop attendees will also receive a training voucher for use after Accelerate.
You will be able to sign up for any of the available testing sessions similar to how you will sign up for any of the breakout sessions.
Once you have secured a seat during one of the available testing sessions it will be your responsibility to confirm that your laptop is able to run the Pearson VUE browser lock software necessary for taking the exam. We will have a NSE Exam Check-in and Laptop Check-up room (South Pacific Ballroom J) open all week and staffed to help you prepare your laptop.
PLEASE NOTE: You will NOT have time to check your laptop immediately before your scheduled test time. It is critical that you have your laptop checked at least 2 hours before your scheduled test time. We will be placing stickers on all laptops that have been checked and confirmed to support the Pearson VUE browser lock software.
At your scheduled test time you will select and register for your exam during Accelerate.
At Check-In, you must:
1. Display the laptop check sticker which you obtained earlier
2. Confirm that your Pearson Vue account is active
3. Be able to authenticate (you cannot create or recover your user account in the exam room).
Do not book an appointment and register for the exam at Pearson VUE prior to Accelerate. All the necessary information for registering and taking your test is provided at the event.
A promo code for exam payment is provided at your exam session and only valid during Accelerate. Ensure that you have an active Pearson Vue account prior to arrival. It may take up to three days to create the account.
Because you are using your own laptop to take the exam at Accelerate, you will need to download the Pearson Vue browser lock. The browser lock is a small executable that creates a secure connection to the Pearson VUE test administration system, while temporarily disabling other computer functions during your exam.
Check system requirements to ensure a smooth exam experience. You will need to confirm proper functionality at the NSE Exam Check-In and Laptop Check-up room (South Pacific Ballroom J) at least 2 hours prior to sitting your exam.
Test takers can confirm their laptop compatibility prior to Accelerate by following the instructions at the following link: https://home.pearsonvue.com/fortinet/client-proctored/test-takers.aspx
All exams that are currently available at Pearson VUE are available at the event. See NSE Certification Program for more information.
